Buildings can be placed in your Town by selecting Custom (カスタム) on the bottom left of the Town screen. Backgrounds (背景), sidewalks (歩道), and fences (フェンス) can be changed by selecting Background Change (背景変更). Some of these objects can be purchased in the Shop for sound dollars.
Multiples of certain building types can be placed in your Town at the same time (for example, having both a Shabby Music Shop and a Regular Music Shop out at the same time). The Max Sound Dollar Limit refers to how many sound dollars a building can hold before being unable to generate any more until you collect it. Additional plots of land will be given at specific Player Ranks.
There are a few types of Buildings that can be in your Town:
- Livehouse (ライブハウス):: Does not generate money and acts a a shortcut to the Customize Stage screen. Only one may be present in your Town.
- Goods Shop (グッズショップ): Sells Goods earned from Lives. Only one may be present in your Town. For more information, visit the Goods Shop page
- Movie Theater (映画館): Does not generate money and acts a a shortcut to the Character Profile screen. Only one may be present in your Town.
- Cafe (カフェ): Generates sound dollars. Multiple buildings of this type can be present in your Town.
- Music Shop (楽器店): Generates sound dollars. Multiple buildings of this type can be present in your Town.
- Restaurant (料理屋): Generates sound dollars. Multiple buildings of this type can be present in your Town.
- Clothing Store (服屋): Generates sound dollars. Multiple buildings of this type can be present in your Town.
Town Construction Tip
The most efficient way to earn sound dollars from the town depends on how frequently you come back to collect the money. If you play often, Cafes are the most efficient because they generate money fastest, but have a low Max Sound Dollar Limit. The general recommendation is to have quick money-generating buildings during times when playing frequently, and swap out to buildings with higher max limits, such as Music Shops, when not playing as often.
