Your Partner is the character displayed on the Home screen. This character will say various voice lines. Some lines are seasonal and will only be spoken for a specific time-frame, and others may be unlocked by increasing the character's friendship. You can also tap the character to prompt them to speak.
Partner Selection window
This character can be changed by clicking the Partner (パートナー) button on the left side of the screen to open the Partner Selection (パートナー選択) window. If you have SSRs of the character or have purchased a special outfit from the Value Packs Shop, you may also change their outfit through this screen. Please note: Only fully implemented characters can be selected as a partner; those that are not fully implemented will not be displayed.
A character's Friendship can be seen in the heart on the Home screen if they are selected as your partner. It can also be viewed on the Partner Selection window by selecting a character or on the Character Information screen which can be accessed from the Members screen. You will also be able to see the Friendship Level of characters who are not fully implemented on this screen.
Friendship can be increased even if the character is not set as your Partner. To increase a character's Friendship, you must have one of their bromides in the Member row of your Band Formation while playing a Free Live or Battle of the Bands. Having multiple bromides of the same character in your Band Formation will not increase Friendship faster. If there is only one character in your formation who's Friendship has not reached MAX, it will take about 50 songs. However, if there are multiple characters in your formation that not at MAX, the amount of Friendship earned will be distributed evenly between the characters, so the number of songs will increase.
Hold down on the heart on the Partner Selection window or Character Information screen to see their Friendship Level
There are 3 levels of Friendship. In addition to unlocking additional voice lines, increasing a Partner's Friendship can provide stat bonuses for all bromides of that character:
- Acquaintances (知り合い): No bonus
- Friends (友達): All stats +2%
- Good Friends (親友): All stats +5%
