Battle of the Bands (対バン) screen is where you can play against other players. Win to get VS. Points to spend in the Battle of the Bands Shop. Participating in Battle of the Bands is required to complete the Weekly Missions and can also be played to earn points for Events. You can also earn Battle of the Bands Trophies that can be used in the Battle of the Bands Trophy Exchange.
Overview
The Extreme Battle of the Bands Festival (エクストリーム対バンまちゅり) is an event that takes place every week, starting on Mondays at 12:00 p.m. JST. Upon entering the Battle of the Bands screen, you will be prompted to select between two bands to support. The band selected is called a Support Band (応援バンド) and cannot be changed until the next week's round.
Once a Support Band is selected, the opponents displayed are random players from both your Support Band and the opposing band. You can earn Support Points (応援ポイント) by battling these players. Points are accumulated by all of the players who are supporting the band.
The larger the difference between your opponent's support ratio and your support ratio, the more points you can earn. Even if a band has a smaller number of supporters, they can still earn more Support Points since the band with less supporters receives a score multiplier to balance out the number of supporters (i.e. bands with less supporters can earn more Support Points per battle).
The number of supporters doesn't mean anything in Battle of the Bands! If you're on the team with a higher Support Ratio, it's still important to do your daily band battles everyday! Because of the score multiplier, if players on the team with less supporters do their band battles more frequently, it's easy for a them to overcome the majority because they earn more points per battle.
Winning and losing isn't just about who has a higher Total Power! When battling other players, the score that determines the winner is adjusted based on the number of bromides you use that are of members for the band you're supporting. Each bromide that matches your Support Band in the Member row of your formation gives a +10% score bonus. The score adjustment is only for scores in Battle of the Bands and not scores that affect Event Points.
Example: If your Support Band is Plasmagica and you have a bromide of Cyan and another of Retoree in your Member row, you will receive a +20% score bonus.

- Support Ratio (応援割合): The percentage of players supporting each band.
- Support Points Earned (応援ポイント獲得量): The score multiplier for the band with the lower number of supporters.
- Interim Results (中間結果): The interim results of the Extreme Battle of the Bands Festival. This become visible on Fridays at 12:00 p.m. JST to give an idea of which Support Band is in the lead.
- Past Results (過去の結果): View results from past Extreme Battle of the Bands Festivals.
- Rewards (報酬): The rewards earned from a win or loss. See the Rewards section for more information.
- Battle Rating (対バンレート): Your current rating in Battle of the Bands. You can increase your rating by participating in battles. This number is refreshed every week.
- VS. Points (対バン.pt): The number of VS. Points you currently have.
- Battle History (対戦履歴): View results of battles where you've defended against a player and ones where you've challenged another player.
- Shop (対バンショップ): Takes you to the Battle of the Bands Shop.
- Battle Data (登録中対バンデータ): View the data you have registered for Battle of the Bands. See the Registering Battle Data section for more information.
- Friend Battle (フレンド対パン): Battle against your Friends.
- Remaining Battles (挑戦可能回数): The number of battles you have remaining for the day. You can participate in 5 battles a day.
- Refresh (リスト更新): Refresh the list of opponents.
- Total Power (総合力): The power of the opponent's band formation.
Opponent Selection

Players on the Opponent Selection (対戦相手選択) are randomly displayed. Selecting Battle! (挑戦!) next to an opponent's name bring you to the confirmation screen where you can see the following information:
- Your opponent's Total Power
- Your opponent's Band Formation
- Your opponent's Score Multiplier
- Song Stats
Your opponent's actual scores are not be shown until after the battle. Sometimes you may see players who have "対バン0" in their username. This means that they successfully completed a Live with a score of 0 and registered it as their Battle Data, which makes them an easy win.
The amount of Support Points your earn has nothing to do with score, song, difficulty, or overall performance. It's only determined by the difference in the rating between you and the opponent. The higher your opponent's rating is and the larger the difference from yours, the more Support Points you receive. Support Points will not change even if you challenge someone with a score of 0.
Battle Results
Performing well in Battle of the Bands results in your Battle Rate going up. The amount it increases depends on the player you battled. The higher the opponent's Battle Rating, the more yours will increase when they are defeated. You also receive Support Points regardless of whether the battle ends in a win or loss and the amount is also determined by the difference in you and your opponent's Battle Ratings.
When you clear the Live, you'll be able to get goods, Event Points, Bromide EXP, Band EXP, friendship, and Campaign Rewards. Just like with Free Lives, the rewards are given upon successful completion of the Live, so even if you lose, you can still get the rewards!
In addition, you receive VS. Points that can be used in the Battle of the Bands Shop. The amount you earn per battle depends on your rank:
- D Rank: +100 VS. Points for a win, +20 VS. Points for a loss
- C Rank: +150 VS. Points for a win, +30 VS. Points for a loss
- B Rank: +200 VS. Points for a win, +40 VS. Points for a loss
- A Rank: +250 VS. Points for a win, +50 VS. Points for a loss
- S Rank: +300 VS. Points for a win, +60 VS. Points for a loss
You will also receive a Strong Enemy Bonus (強敵ボーナス) of +20% for VS. Points if you defeat someone who's band formation has a higher Total Power than yours.
Battle Data Registration

Battle Data (登録中対バンデータ) is the score that other players challenge during Battle of the Bands if they choose to challenge you. It stores the Band Formation you used as well as the score you got after clearing the song. To register Battle Data:
- Successfully clear a song in Free Live.
- On the Live Results screen, select the checkbox that says Register (対バン登録). This is automatically selected for scores that are higher than your currently registered score. It can be rewritten up to 3 times a day.
Rewards
Rewards for the Extreme Battle of the Bands Festival are sent on Mondays when the tally is complete. You can earn Battle of the Bands Trophies which can be exchanged for bromides that are available in the Battle of the Bands Trophy Exchange. You receive rewards regardless of whether the band you support wins or loses, so be sure to participate!
